Picnic BBQ Facilities
There are several lovely spots throughout the precinct for a picnic. Stop at the picturesque Lake or anywhere on the banks near the fresh running water of the Steavenson River which flows all year round.
The large rotunda adjacent to the Trevor Harrow Oval accommodates several picnic tables, Free Electric BBQ’s and is great for families and groups. This area may be booked and reserved for special events and functions such as family gatherings, birthdays and club gatherings. Its a perfect space for childrens parties too as the dam is full of fish and the Adventure Playground in within walking distance.
The Kin Playspace Adventure Playground has a covered area with picnic tables and Electric BBQs as well as a picnic shelter with some seating. This state of the art Playground, built after the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires has water features, climbing play equipment, a small flying fox and is suitable for children of all ages.
